More than 200 researchers from FAU are among the top 2 percent of the most cited scientists worldwide, according to a new evaluation. The list was published by researchers at Stanford University who evaluated the Scopus database, the largest abstract and citation database for peer-reviewed literature published by Elsevier.

One of these researchers is a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering:

Professor Dr. Aldo R. Boccaccini, head of the Chair of Biomaterials, ranks 32nd internationally in the field of Materials Science on this survey called the “Stanford List.”

Congratulations on this great achievement!
